If a shopkeeper sell 30 meter of white fabric and make a net profit 60rs for the day , find how many meters of red fabric did sell that day

therefore, Total loss =7*5= ₹35

He sells 5m white fabric at profit of ₹6 each meter

Therefore, Total profit =5*6=₹30

Since, Total profit is less then Total loss

Loss = total loss -total profit

= 35-30.

= ₹5

(b) Shopkeeper sells 30m of white fabric at profit of ₹6 each meter.

profit = 30*6

= 180

Total profit of that day = ₹60

Loss = Profit -total profit

= 180-60

= ₹120

Loss by selling 1m of red fabric =₹5

Loss by selling Xm of red fabric =₹120

Length of red fabric sold= 120/5

= 24m
