Let price of that article =100

If he got 8% profit then selling price =cpx(100+profit)/100

=100x(100+8)/100

=108

After allowing discount of 10% he got this selling price

So mrp=spx100/(100-discount)

Mrp=108x100/(100-10)

=108x100/90

=120

Mrp=120

Price =100

Above= 20

So he must mark the price 20% above
