your answer is here mate

Value of a and b are given to us

Now,ATQ

=>sinθ/cosθ +cosθ/sinθ

=>sin^2θ + cos ^2θ /sinθcosθ

=>1/sinθcosθ

Now, a(b^2-1)

=>(sin θ+ cos θ){1/sin^2θcos^2θ -1}

=>sinθ + cosθ /sin^2θ +cos^2θ (1-sin^2θcos^2θ)

=>2

hope helps
