are 9000 compressions (high pressure region) made. What is the frequency of the sound wave?

It is given that

Frequency =3kHz=3000Hz

Wavelength =45cm=45/100 m

we know that

Velocity =Frequency into wavelength

V=3000(45/100)

V=1350m/sec

Now time =distance /speed

Time = 1800m/1350m/sec

Time= 1.333sec
