If a sprinter runner a distance of 100metres in 9.83 seconds, calculate his average speed in km/hr?

average \: speed =  \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time }  \\  =  \frac{100}{9.83}  =  \frac{100 \times 100}{983}  \\  =  \frac{10000}{983} \\  = 10.1729....
So, average speed is 10.17 m/s.
