SQUARE

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the side of the triangle be 12 cm

perimeter of the triangle=perimeter of the square

3s=4a

3(12)=4a

36=4a

therefore a=36/4=9cm

the triangle we have to find be an equilateral triangle

according to my theory the sides and angles are equal in measure in the equilateral triangle then it's altitude be equal

triangle:

b=12cm

h=12cm

area of the triangle=1/2bh

=1/2×12×12

=1×6×12

=72 cm²

square:

a=9 cm

area of the square=a²

=9²

=9×9=81 cm²

72 cm² is < than 81 cm²

therefore, square had the greater area
