(a+b)² = a² + b² + 2ab = 34 + 2*15 = 64

⇒ (a+b)² = 64

⇒ a+b = √64 = 8

------------------------------------------------------

(a-b)² = a² + b² - 2ab = 34 - 2*15 = 4

⇒ (a-b)² = 4

⇒ a-b = √4 = 2

Here the value of a = 5 and the value of b= 3 then the given problem satisfies its solution.
when a = 5 and b = 3 then as follows
(5×5)+(3×3) = 34
a + b = 5+3 = 8
a -b = 5-3 = 2
