Answer:

Height= 12 cm

Radius = 12/2 = 6cm

so, surface area of cylinder =

2πr(h+r) = 2*22/7*6(12+6)= 678.8 cm

Answer :

2 cm,

Solution :

Let the length cut off from each corner be x cm. Then, length of the box

( 12 - 2x)

V = (12 - 2x )^2 ( squaring it)

Applying value of X = 2

( 12 - 2 (2) ) ^2 = ( 12 - 4 )^ 2 × 2

8 square 64

64 × 2 = 128 cm^3
