If a stone of mass 0.25kg tied to a string executes uniform circular motion with speed of 2m/s of radius 3m,what is the magnitude of tension force acting on the stone?​

Solution :-

Mass of the stone, m=0.25 kg

Radius of the circle, r = 3 m

speed = 2 m/ s

so , tension force = mv²/r

=> tension force = 0.25 × 2² / 3

=> tension force = 1/3

=> tension force = 0.333 N
