Let the amount be P
now Total amount after 2 yrs.=
P +(P×5×2)÷100=44000
P+P÷10=44000
11P÷10=44000
P=44000×10÷11

P=40000
Now after 3 yrs
amount =40000+(40000×5×3÷100)
=40000+6000=46000

Answer:

Let the principle be Rs P.

Give, r=5 , n=2 and A = Rs. 44000.

We know that, A = P + S.I.

.: Rs. 44000 = Rs P +

→ Rs P + Rs= Rs 44000

Thus, the principal is Rs 40000.

Amount at the end of 3 years

= P + S.I.

= Rs 40000 +

= Rs 40000 + Rs 6000

= Rs 46000
