Answer:

(p) principal = 1

(A) amount = 4p = 4×1=4

(I) simple interest = A-p

= 4-1 = 3

(T) time = 5 year

R= 100×i / pt

R= 100× 3/ 1×5

R =60%

(I) simple interest A-p

time = 100xi /pr

I = 10- 1= 9

I = 100 × 9/ 1×60

final answer is 15 year

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

a sum of money at S.I becomes

4 times in 5 years.

To find:-

How many years will it becomes 10 times?

Solution:-

Let the sum of money be X

Amount =4 times to X =4X

Simple Interest = Amount - Principle

Simple Interest=4X-X=3X

Time =5 years

We know that

Simple Interest=PTR/100

=>3X =X(5)R/100

=>3X = 5RX/100

=>3X=RX/20

=>3= R/20

=>R=3×20

R=60

now Amount becomes 10 times to principle

Amount = 10X

Simple interest =10X-X =9X

We know that

SI =PTR/100

=>T=100 ×SI/PR

=>T=100×9X/60X

=>T=900X/60X

=>T=900/60

=>T=90/6

=>T=15

Time = 15 years

Answer:-

The time will be becomes 15 years
