The number of notes of denomination Rs. 2, Rs. 5, Rs. 10 and Rs. 25 = 5, 1, 1 and 7

Step-by-step explanation:

To find, the number of notes of denomination Rs. 2, Rs. 5, Rs. 10 and Rs. 25 = ?

There are various ways to solve it, one of them is :

The number of notes of denomination Rs. 2 = 5,

The number of notes of denomination Rs.5 = 1,

The number of notes of denomination Rs.10 = 1 and

The number of notes of denomination Rs.25 = 7

∴ Rs. 2 × 5 + Rs. 5 × 1 + Rs. 10 × 1 + Rs. 25 × 7

= Rs. 10 + Rs. 5  + Rs. 10 + Rs. 175

= Rs. 200

Hence, the number of notes of denomination Rs. 2, Rs. 5, Rs. 10 and Rs. 25 = 5, 1, 1 and 7.
