If a test shows that some people have plasmodium in their blood but they do not shows any symptom of Malaria what hypothesis would you formulate to answer this question

Blood taken from your finger is put on a test strip that changes color to show whether you have malaria or not. This test usually can't tell which of the four common species of malaria parasites caused your infection. Your doctor should follow up all results with blood smears.

Its not at all necessary that if a person who is suffering from a particular disease would show all the symptoms related to that disease. Similarly if a person tests positive for malaria its not at all compulsory that he would show the symptoms of malaria. His immune system would be trying its hard to fight against it. But if it seems to loose the battle with the antigen then it would start showing the symptoms of that particular disease.
