if a=
3 + 2 \sqrt{2}
then find the value of
 {a}^{2}  +  \frac{1}{ {a}^{2} }

Step-by-step explanation:

a = 3+2√2

→1/a = 3-2√2

Now ,

a^2 + 1/a^2 = (3+2√2)^2 +(3-2√2)^2 = 34
