a -  \frac{1}{a }  = 5

( {a -  \frac{1}{a} })^{2}  = 25

 {a}^{2}  +  { \frac{1}{a} }^{2}  - 2 = 25

  {a}^{2}  +  { \frac{1}{a} }^{2}  = 27
