Moment of inertia of a thin circular ring about its diameter is, I1=m1R21
Moment of inertia of a flat circular disc about its diameter is I2=m2R222
Given that two objects having same moment of inertia i.e., I1=I2
⇒m1R21=m2R222
Given that m1=m2 hence R21=R222 ltbrlt ⇒R22R22=12 or R1R2=12–√
∴ Ratio of radii ,
