If a thin string and a thick string are of same length,which will produce higher note when plucked?why?

well the answer is quite simple...the thin string produce the higher note...this is simple fact that being light the string can have higher number of vibrations than the denser thick string...being so dense the number of vibrations is limited in thick string.
