Draw a triangle right angled at C, AB being the hypotenuse.

We need to find angle of elevation i.e., (angle) BAC . BC = 30m, AC = 10sqrt(3)

let (angle) BAC = x;

tanx = BC/AC

= 30/10sqrt(3)

tanx = sqrt(3)

taking inverse both sides,

tan^-1(tanx ) = tan^-1(sqrt(3))

x = pi/3 or 60 degrees. {as tan^-1(sqrt(3)) = 60 }

Hope it helps!!

Thanks :)
