distance = speed × time

length of the train = (30×5/18)× 27/2
= (150/18) × (27/2)
=(150/2) × (3/2)
=450/4
=112.5 m

Answer:

112.5 Meter

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

A train crosses a point in 27/2 sec.

so, time ( t ) = 27/2 sec

speed of the train ( v ) = 30 km/h = ( 30 * 1000 ) m/h

= 30000 / ( 60 * 60 ) m/s

= ( 50 / 6 ) m/s

We know that,

Distance = speed * time

Distance = ( 50 / 6 ) * ( 27 / 2 ) m

= 12.5 * 9 m

= 112.5 m

Hence the length of train = 112.5 Meter.
