Answer:

Given :

➡️ speed of the train =92.7 km/hr

that is, speed of the train(v)=(92.7×1000)/3600m/s = 25.75 m/s

➡️ time taken = 17 minutes

that is, time taken(t) =17×60s

that is, t = 1020s

To find :

➡️ distance covered

Solution :

according to the formula ,

speed = distance/time

we have distance(s) = speed×time

that is, s = 1020×25.75 m

that is, s = 1020 × 103/4 m

that is, s = 255×103 m

that is, s = 26265 m

Hence, distance travelled by the train in 17 minutes is 26265m or 26.265 km.
