Given :-

  • Speed of train = 60 km/hr
  • Time = 30 seconds

To Find :-

  • The Length of the train = ?

Concept :-

  • Distance = Speed × Time

Solution :-

First of all convert the speed of train from km/hr to m/s.

→ Speed of train = 60 km/hr

→ Speed of train = 60000 ÷ 3600

→ Speed of train = 600/36

→ Speed of train = 100/6

→ Speed of train = 50/3 m/s

Now, let's find the Length of train :

  • Length of train is nothing but distance travelled.

➻ Distance = Speed × Time

➻ Distance = 50/3 × 30

➻ Distance = 1500/3

Distance = 500 m

Therefore, the length of train is 500 meters.
