Hi. Here is it answere

Given

A parallelogram and triangle are on the same base and between same parallel lines

To proof =area of triangle is half area of parallelogram

Let common base =AB
And common height =X
area of triangle =1/2×base ×Height

And area of parallelogram =base×height

Area of triangle /area of parallelogram =1/2×ab×x/ab×x
=1/2
Hence proof
