To proof =area of triangle is half area of parallelogram
Let common base =AB
And common height =X
area of triangle =1/2×base ×Height
And area of parallelogram =base×height
Area of triangle /area of parallelogram =1/2×ab×x/ab×x
=1/2
Hence proof
