Given :-

\:\begin{cases}\sf\red{Trolley \ starts \ from \ rest}\\\sf\orange{Acceleration\: ( a ) \:= \:2 cm/s^2 }\\\sf\purple{Time \ interval  \ (t) \ = \ 3 sec }\end{cases}

To find :-

  • \bf\green{Velocity} after 3 seconds

Solution :-

  • We know that, trolley starts from rest.

\therefore\:\bf\purple{Initial \ velocity \ (u) \ = \ 0m/s}

\to\:\:\sf{Acceleration \ = \ 2cm/s^2}

\to\:\:\sf{Acceleration \ = \ \bigg(\dfrac{2}{100}\bigg)\:m/s^2}

\to\:\:\sf{Acceleration \ = \ {\bf{0.02m/s^2}}}

Using 1st equation of motion

\to\:\:\sf{v = u + at}

\to\:\:\sf{v = 0 + (0.02\times 3)}

\to\:\:\sf{v = 0.06m/s}

Hence,

\small\star\:{\boxed{\rm{\red{Velocity \ of \  body \ after \ 3 \ seconds \ is \ {\bf{\red{0.06 m/s}}}}}}}

Answer:

velocity after 3 sec= 6cm/s

Explanation:

v=final velocity

u=initial velocity =0

a=2cm/s^2

t=3sec

v=u+at

= 0+2*3

=6cm/s
