Answer :-

Number is 36.

Explanation :-

Let the digit in tens place be x

Digit in units place = Twice the digit in tens place = 2(x) = 2x

Number formed = 10(digit in tens place) + digit in units place = 10(x) + 2x = 10x + 2x = 12x

Number formed when digits are reversed = 10(digit in units place) + digit in tens place = 10(2x) + x = 20x + x = 21x

Given

Number formed + 27 = Number formed when digits are reversed

⇒ 12x + 27 = 21x

⇒ 27 = 21x - 12x

⇒ 27 = 9x

⇒ 27/9 = x

⇒ 3 = x

⇒ x = 3

Number = 12x = 12(3) = 36

the number is 36.
