If  a = 8  and  b = 1.5

Then,

    K = a ( b + 2 )

⇒  K = 8 ( 1.5 + 2 )

⇒  K = 8 × 3.5

∴  K = 28

Now,

If  b = 5

then,

      a = \frac{K}{b+2}

⇒  a = \frac{28}{5+2}

a = \frac{28}{7}

  ∴ a = 4
