If a varies inversely as t^2, and if a = 2 when y = 0.3, write a formula for a in terms of t ?

a = 0.18/t²

◆ Explanation -

Given that a is inversely proportional to t² -

a ∝ 1/t²

Taking k as a constant -

a = k/t² ...(1)

When t = 0.3, a = 2,

2 = k / 0.3²

k = 2 × 0.3²

k = 0.18

Putting this value in (1),

a = 0.18/t²
