The vector depends upon two quantities that are magnitude and direction.

  • When the vector is multiplied by 4, as the 4 is positive number, the magnitude will become 4 times of the vector.
  • As it is multiplied. If instead of 4 there -4, then the direction of the vector will change.
  • The negative will reverse the direction of the vector.
  • But in the statement the vector is positive the direction remain same  and the magnitude of the vector will be 4 times of the vector.
