If a volume concentration ℅ of any solution is 18 . In so Mililetre of HCL is used. Now the find the volume of H2o has used in this solution​

Specific gravity (Relative density) = (Mass of substance)/(Mass of equal volume of water)= 1.18g/1ml

•If 1ml contains 1.18g HCL, then 1000ml (1L) contains (1.18g x1000) = 1180g HCL (assuming the acid is 100% pure)

•If 100% HCL solution contains 1180g, therefore 35.4% HCL solution contains (35.4% X 1180g)/(100%)/L of HCL = 417.72g/L

•But 36.5g/L of HCL = 1M, therefore 417.72g/L = (417.72g/LX1M)/(36.5g/L) = 11.4M
