The diameter of the cylinder is 7.56 cm.

Explanation:

The volume of the cylinder = 900 cm³

The height of the cylinder, h = 20 cm

Let the radius of the cylinder be "r" cm.

Now,

The volume of the cylinder = πr²h

⇒ 900 = \frac{22}{7} × r² × 20

⇒ r² = \frac{900 * 7}{20 * 22}

⇒ r = √14.31

r = 3.78 cm

Thus,

The diameter of the cylinder is given by,

= 2 × r

= 2 × 3.78

= 7.56 cm
