ANSWER:-

  • Percentage of reduction = 7.672%

GIVEN:-

  • Orignal weight = 65kg.
  • weight after reduction = 60kg.

TO FIND:-

  • Percentage of reduction.

SOLUTION:-

Let the percentage of reduction be x.

Reduced weight = 65kg - 60kg = 5kg.

FORMULA TO FIND PERCENTAGE OF REDUCTION:

 \rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{reduced \: weight}{orignal \: weight}  \times 100\%

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:-

 \rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{5kg}{65kg}  \times 100\%

\rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{5kg}{65kg}  \times 100\%

\rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{5kg}{65kg}  \times 100\%

\rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{1 kg}{13kg}  \times 100\%

\rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{1  \cancel{kg}}{13 \cancel{kg} } \times 100\%

\rightarrow \sf  \dfrac{1 }{1}  \times 7.672\%

\rightarrow  \boxed{\sf \purple{{ 7.672\%}}}
