In the above question it is given that the diameter of a wheel is 84cm and it is said to find the area covered by the wheel in 12 revolutions --

ANSWER -)

Diameter = 84 cm

Radius (r) = 84/2 = 42 cm

Area covered in 1 revolution = Circumference = 2πr

= 2×22/7×42

= 264 cm

Area covered in 12 revolutions

= 12×264

= 3168 cm

Hope it helps you :) Have a wonderful day ahead #

Answer:

Diameter = 2r =84cm

Distance covered in one revolution = circumference = 2πr

22

= 7

x 84 = 264cm

Thus, to cover a distance of 264cm, number of

revolution = 1

To cover a distance of 792 metres = 79200cm,

79200

264

number of revolutions =

= 300
