If a wire having resistance 12 ohm is bend in the form of a circle? What will.be the R equilent at horizontal diametrical end point

Wires resistance = 12 ohms

Now, it is bent to form a circle.

The wire will have two equal half from the diametrical end points.

Hence, the resistance of each half wire = \frac{12}{2}

Resistance of each half wire = 6 ohms

Now, from the two diametrical end points, the two wires will be in parallel.

Hence, we will use the parallel formula to find the equivalent resistance.

\frac{1}{R_e_q} = \frac{1}{6} + \frac{1}{6}

R_e_q = \frac{6}{2}

R_e_q = 3 ohms
