if a wire of 3 Ohm is folded 5 times. what will be new resistance of the wire also tell resistivity changes or not with reason. Pls answer fastly..........

If the wire is folded 5 times then the length of the wire becomes 1/5th. Since resistance is directly proportional to length, the Resistance becomes 1/5*3=0.6 ohm. Resistivity does not change as it is the property of the substance and does not depend on the length.
