if a wire of Resistance 24 ohmand length 6m is used for producing heat energy. if write is now cut into half then find quick will give more energy. both sites connected across source of 220V. please answer with step.

resistance is directly proportional to length
as we cut in to half , the resistance also gets half that is 12
as we know p =v²/r
so 12 ohm resistor will give more energy
