If a women is using Copper T, it will not help in protecting her from sexually transmitted diseases because Copper-T doesn't allow Sperms to fuse with ova/eggs, but their is fluid contact of semen with the vagina, hence it will not help in protecting her from sexually transmitted diseases, they can be prevented only if the man is using Condoms while the copulation, besides it the sexually transmitted diseases cannot be prevented
