Answer:

(x + a)(x-3) = x²+6x+p

x(x-3) + a(x-3)= x²+6x+p

x²-3x + ax -3a= x²+6x+p

x² +(-3+a)x+(-3a) = x²+6x+p

Comparing both sides we get,

-3 + a= 6

a=6+3=9

and

-3a= p

-3(9) =p

so p= -27
