SOLUTION

GIVEN

A = { x:x belongs to N and x < 15 }

B = { x : x belongs to N and x < 3 }

TO DETERMINE

The set A - B and write it in the set builder form

EVALUATION

Here it is given that

A = { x : x belongs to N and x < 15 }

∴ A = { 1, 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7, ...., 14 }

B = { x : x belongs to N and x < 3 }

∴ B = { 1 , 2 }

Thus A - B = { 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 , 7, ...., 14 }

In set builder form

A - B = { x : x ∈ N and 2 < x < 15 }
