a ^{2} - 2a + 1 = 2

a^{2} - 2a - 1 = 0

a^{2} - 1a - 1a - 1 = 0

a(a - 1) + 1(a - 1) = 0

Answer:

To Find:- (a³-1)/a³

Solution:-

Given

a²-2a+1=2

then

a²-2a+1-2=0

a²-2a-1=0

Factorize using Splitting the middle term method

that is

a²-a-a-1=0

a(a-1)-1(a-1)=0

(a-1)(a-1)=0

If product of these terms given is 0

and both terms are same, then each term is 0

a-1=0

a=1

therefore the value of a is 1

Now We've to find

a³-1/a³

that is

we've to substitute 1 in place of a

1³-1/1³

we know

if one raise to any number, the answer is 1

1-1/1

1-1

=0

there the answer is 0
