Hey

Here is your answer,

Given that,

a²+b²=41
ab=4
a+b = ?

By using the identity (a+b)^2= a²+b²+2 ab

(a+b)^2= a²+b²+2 ab
a+b = √41 +2x 4
a+b = √49
a+b = 7

Hope it helps you!
