There are two formulas of a^2+b^2 . On applying both we can find the required values and solve the problem. Refer to the image attached.

Step-by-step explanation:

a ²+ b² =9

ab= 4

(a+b)²=a²+b²+2.a.b

=> 9+2×4

=>17

(a-b)² = a²+b²-2.a.b

=> 9-2×4

=> 1

3(a+b)² - 2(a-b)²

=>3×17 - 2×1

=>51 - 2

=> 49

Hope this is helpful to U ✨✨✨✨✨✨
