a+b =5

Squaring on both sides we get.

a^2 + b^2 +2ab = 25

a^2 + b^2 = 25-12

a^2+ b^2 = 13

Hope it helps you..

a²+b².+2ab= 5 square

a²+b².+2ab =25

ab=6 so.....put this value in ab
