As in triangle abc ab=ac it is a isosceles triangle and angle abc=angle acb

AB=AC

AP+PB=AQ+QC

AS AP=AQ

PB=QC

IN TRIANGLE PBC AND TRIANGLE  QCB

PB=QC(PROVED)

ANGLE ABC=ANGLE ACB (PROVED)

BC=CB(COMMON SIDE)

BY SAS CONGRUENCY TRIANGLE PBC≅ TRIANGLE QCB

BY CPCT: CP = BQ

HENCE PROVED
