If AB,AC,PQ are tangents in fig.8.56 and AB=5 cm then find the perimeter of triangle APQ​

Tangents from an external point to a circle are equal so

PX=PB and QX=QC

AB=BC=5cm

So,

AP+PB=AQ+QC

AP+PX=AQ+QX=5cm

perimeter of triangle = 10 cm
