Trapezium

Construction:

  • Draw line AB of 7cm
  • Cut an arc of 70° from point B
  • Extend the points B to C of 6cm in length
  • Draw a line 7cm from C to D, parallel to AB
  • Join the point AD of 6.5cm

The figure thus formed is given in the attachment

Square: It is a 2-dimensional structure with four equal sides.

Trapezium: It is a quadrilateral with at least one pair of parallel sides.

Rhombus: It is a quadrilateral with all the four sides equal

Rectangle: It is a parallelogram with all the four sides parallel with adjacent sides of unequal length.
