Given : AB is a diameter of circle C with center O and radius r

coordinates of A and B are (5,6) and (3,2)

To Find : the coordinates of O

and radius r

Solution:

Coordinates of A and B are (5,6) and (3,2)

Center is the mid point of coordinates of a diameter

=> Coordinates of O  = ( 5 + 3)/2 , ( 6 + 2)/2

= (4, 4)

the coordinates of O = (4, 4)

Radius = distance between (5 , 6) and ( 4 , 4)

= √(5 - 4)² + (6 - 4)²

=  √5

Hence radius r =  √5
