If it is a triangle, x = 8

Because there is only one possibility for the data.......

If B lies on AC then, AC = AB + BC

In that form put out the values.....

• (x+3) + (2x) = (4x-5)
• 3x+3 = 4x-5
• 3x-4x = -5 -3
• -x = -8

Therefore, x=8
