. If ΔABC ~ ΔDEF, AB = 4 cm, DE = 6 cm, EF = 9 cm and FD = 15 cm, find the perimeter of ABC.​

If ∆ABC~∆DEF, then their corresponding sides are in the same ratio

here, AB= 4cm

and DE=6cm

So, their ratio is 4/6cm , 2/3cm

AB/DE = BC/EF

2/3 = a/9

2×9/3 = a

18/3 = a

6cm = a ------- mark as 1

AB/DE = CA/FD

2/3 = b/15

2×15/3 = b

30/3 = b

10 = b ------------ mark as 2

Perimeter of ∆ ABC

AB + BC + CA = AB + a + b

4cm + 6cm + 10cm
