Step-by-step explanation:

area of ∆ABC=9

area of ∆PQR=4

area in ratio =9:4

so, sides are also in the same ratio

In ∆ABC and ∆PQR,

AB:QR=9:4

8:QR=9:4

8/QR=9/4

QR/8=4/9

QR=(4×8)/9

QR=32/9 cm

BC:PR=9:4

BC/PR=9/4

15/PR=9/4

PR=(4×15)/9

PR=20/3

PR=6.67 answer.

it is done by theorem (a triangle in which ratio of sides are equal as the ratio of areas in similar triangles.)
