If ABCD is a parallelogram in which Angle A =2x , Angle B=110° , Angle C =70°, Angle D = 5y . Find value of xy​

Answer:

In a parallelogram, opposite angles are always equal.

⇒∠A=∠C and ∠B=∠D

as ∠A=70o⇒∠C=70o

Also ∠A+∠B+∠C+∠D=360o

⇒∠B+∠D=360o−140o

⇒2∠B=220

⇒∠B=110

⇒D=110

Here,

ABCD is a parallelogram with,

∠A = 2x

∠B = 110°

∠C= 70°

∠D= 5y

Now, As we know that for any parm, the opposite angle are equal so,

∠A = ∠C

or, 2x = 70

∴x=35

∠B = ∠D

or, 110 = 5y

∴y = 55

∴xy = 35 x 55 = 1925
