Find :-Area of BDP

Solution :-

Side of square = AB= 8cm

Area of triangle BPD = 1/2×Base×Height

BP = 1/2(AB) =1/2(8) =4cm

PD= 4cm

$area \: = \frac{1}{2} \times bd \times pd$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 4 \times 4$

$= \frac{1}{2} \times 16$

$= 8$

Therefore the area of BPD is 8cm
